Sale! Aftermath
The garage sale has been and gone, and I am so glad to be able to sit down. All I can say is advertising in the Saturday West Australian is just a must for a garage sale, and the Sunday Times wasn't too shabby either. Of course it helped that there were two other garage sales in our street this weekend as well...
I have updated the garage sale page - as we still have some items left, as well as some we hadn't advertised here before. Please take a look and make an offer.
This is the second garage sale we've done (we did one two years ago when we moved from Karrinyup to Bayswater), and maybe some time I'll write some more notes on how things went, but no time at present.
The Eye of the Storm
In amongst all the rush rush rush preparing for our trip to the UK, we have managed to take a relaxing two nights at the Mercure Forrest Resort Villas in outback Victoria. Why now? Well, we recently joined the Accor Premier Vacation Club. You get a stay in one of the club's properties for just learning about the club, but for joining they throw in free return tickets to anywhere in Australia. But you only get a year to use them, and we weren't planning to be for most of the next year, so the only time was now. It was however, well worth it... (the only downside was that we didn't have time to stay longer!)
Sale!
We are having a garage sale on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd of July, from 10am to 4pm. Follow the link to see some of the larger items on offer. This is a "leaving the country sale" though, so there is a whole lot more - nearly everything must go!
We have *finally* obtained our UK ancestry visas, so everything is happening! Will post more soon.
