About Us

We have been married now for some 33 years and have three children—all flown the coup.

Mike enjoys the occasional game of golf but the caravan lacks the space to store the necessaries of the game.

Jan gets into a bit of stained glass work and enjoys a good read. When at home she enjoys a bit of gardening.

The things we really do get into while traveling is a spot of fishing. To this end we are set up with a 3.75 Quintrex Dart aluminum dinghy, carried on the roof of the Patrol. The boat is powered by a 15 hp Honda outboard and we have a Little Bull Dog trailer to get it about when we settle in a place for a while.

Both of us enjoy snorkeling, walking, birdwatching, and photographing flowers and scenery.

Our hope at the moment is to see as much of Australia as we can while we are still fit and healthy enough to enjoy it—but we do want to have the time to take it all in as well.

We enjoy using our Caravan as much as possible but work commitments have too often got in the way. When using the van we like to get into out of the way places, seeking peace and seclusion wherever we can.
